about

Faith Healers: Originally recorded and released in 1989.

If memory serves, we discovered that we had "x amount" of time still available for a vinyl ep release we were doing (Camera Psyche Soul Head). Like, we read the specs and realized we could fit one more song on the record without pushing vinyl's time constraints. So, we set up Paul in the living room, Brian in the kitchen and myself in a the bedroom of the small house Paul & I shared. We aimed one mic in Paul's direction and placed one in the room between Brian & I. What you hear is an impromtu jam recorded with two mics. You may think "well, it sounds like an impromtu noise jam", but considering we couldn't see or really even hear each other, I think it's pretty interesting. Plus, I've always thought I could hear "CB radio chatter" and women talking when I've listened to it over the years. Just weird stuff floating around. Anyway, enjoy.
